Taztel Communication provides digital (VoIP) Telephone service over broadband internet connection. We use latest and state of the art telephone switch to bring this service to you. All users have access to this switch through their account portal. You no longer have to call phone company and stay on hold for long time to activate or deactivate a feature. When you are a Taztel customer, you just log into your account and manage all the features, view call records, view and pay bills.

  Q What equipment and services are needed?
  A You need following service and equipments to install Taztel digital telephone service.
  Broadband Internet service: You need DSL or ADSL or Cable or T1 or Fractional T1 ( one form of broadband Internet service) to be able to install Taztel digital telephone service.
  Telephone: You need a ordinary touchtone telephone
  Taztel Telephone Adopter: A Taztel digital telephone adopter (ATA). We will ship you this device after you signup for the service or you can buy one from the market.
     
  Q Do I need any special telephone to use this service?
  A No you do not need any special telephone to use this service. All you need is a ordinary touchtone phone. But, if you like you can buy IP phone and configure it. In that case you will not need Taztel telephone adopter.
     
  Q What is your cancellation policy?
  A You can cancel any time you like. If you cancel with in 45 days of activation & and return the taztel telephone adopter in unmarked and working condition, we will refund your activation of $45.00.
     
  Q How fast Internet connection I need to use Taztel digital telephone service?
  A You need at least 150 kbps connection for normal seamless conversation. Standard ADSL connections are usually 250 kbps or more. And cable is over 300 kbps. These kinds of broadband internet connection is just right for VoIP telephone service.
     
  Q Which are broadband or high-speed Internet Service?
  A DSL, ADSL, Cable, T1 etc. are called broadband Internet service.
     
  Q Can I keep my current phone number when I signup for Taztel Telephone service?
  A Yes, you can keep your current phone numbers after you signup with Taztel VoIP telephone service. By law your telephone numbers are your property. After you signup for the service and activate an account with Taztel, you can request to port your current telephone number from you telephone company. Most of the companies (with some exceptions) are required by law to release your telephone numbers to be ported to to your account with Taztel.
     
  Q Is there any fee associated with porting my current number?
  A No, there is no fee associated with porting your current number.
     
  Q Do I have to modify my home network to connect Taztel adopter?
  A No. All you do is connect the Taztel Telephone adopter to one of the Ethernet ports in your router. Then you turn on the adopter. These adopters are preprogrammed. You should immediately hear the dial tone.
     
  Q What if my broadband connection is a wireless connection or satellite connection?
  A As long as your router is connected to the Internet and the connection speed is minimum 150 kbps, Taztel VoIP telephone service will work.
     
  Q Can I take my service with me if I move?
  A Yes you can take your service with you when and if you move to an area we provide service in. You can even change the telephone number to same area code you move to.
     
  Q Do you provide Toll Free service?
  A Yes we provide toll free service for only $5.00 per month plus any long distance charges.
     
  Q Do you support E911 ?
  A Yes we support E911 service. Unlike most of the VoIP companies we support E911 service. Security and protection of our customers are very important to us.
     
  Q How Do I get Started?
  A Very easy. Choose a rate plan that fits your need the best then sign up online.
Or you can call 210-699-0444, 281-441-3111 a customer service rep will answer all of your questions and sign you up. Then a Taztel telephone adopter will be shipped to you.
Once you receive the Taztel telephone adopter and install it, you are ready to make phone calls.
     
  Q Once I chose a plan and signup, can I change the rate plan later?
  A You can change you rate plan anytime, limited to unlimited or unlimited to limited which ever you like.
     
  Q How do I pay my bill?
  A Your monthly bill will be available in your account along with all the call records. During the signup, online or by phone, you will be asked to agree to pay by credit card and provide a credit card. Your one time activation fee of $45.00 and monthly bill will be billed to this credit card. If your credit card expires, you can log into your account and add new expiration date or a new credit card.   Q What will be my international rates?
  A International rates are posted on the front page. If you like to look up the international rates, just click home and look it up in the international rate box. We provide some of the cheapest international rates in the market.
     
  Q What if I have a Limited plan and my usage goes over the limit?
  A If your long distance calls passes 800 minutes limit per month, you will be billed 4 cents per minute for calls over 800 minutes.
     
  Q Do I get a paper bill?
  A Your monthly bill and call records are available in your account. We will not send you a paper bill.
